Dear Baseball Parent,

Hello, my name is Chet Womach, and as a former Division I College Baseball Player from the University of California Irvine, I can tell you from personal experience:

Your child's ability to throw balls hard, fast, and accurately will have an ENORMOUS impact on his ability to progress as a player...

Too many players with lots of potential STALL OUT because they never learned how to throw as hard as their bodies are capable of... So they're PUSHED OUT of the game as they're SURPASSED by players who can throw at higher velocities, more accurately.

When my first son got involved with Little League, I wanted to make sure he had the advantage of high velocity throwing skills.  So I began experimenting with different throwing programs out there.

We tried MANY throughout his Little League career...

But it wasn't until the end of his 11-year-old Little League season that I finally found something that REALLY worked.

The improvements in his throwing velocity and accuracy happened so FAST and were so IMPRESSIVE that I decided to take three pitchers from my Little League team... and run THEM through the program too.

A 55 mph thrower, a 53 mph thrower, and a 51 mph thrower.

The results spoke for themselves!    Once again...

The 3 Little League Pitchers I Ran Through The Program Each Gained 8+ MPH!
The 3 Little League Pitchers I Ran Through The Program Each Gained 8+ MPH!
The gains made by each player in their throwing velocity and accuracy were so measurably consistent, I knew I'd found the training formula to help give ANY player the best chance at learning to throw harder, faster, and more accurately.

I've now added this 12-Week Velocity Builder Training Camp to my Centralia Baseball Academy for Fall 2023.

And I'm currently taking registrations from players, ages 9-13.

(Although I must strictly limit registrations, to ensure everyone gets the ideal mix of individual attention and practice with other players.)
Here's How It Works:
Phase I: Arm Mapping & Conditioning
The first 4-5 weeks of the program is spent conditioning the arm to be strong enough to handle the more intense 2nd and 3rd phases of the program.

Kids are run through a series of drills with wrist weights, tubing, and throwing exercises to help their bodies learn how to throw more efficiently, as well as teach proper recovery.
The drills during this phase focus on:
  • How to use the legs to drive velocity in the throw
  • Cleaning up arm action (no more pushing or aiming)
  • Tricks for kids who always miss high
  • How to generate more torque through the torso
  • And a whole lot more!
By the end of this phase, kids are ready to throw hard, so we get them on a mound, and get an initial baseline radar gun reading on them so we can track our gains.

The "Pull Down" as shown in the above video is one of the workouts we do during the VELO Phase.

The first time a player goes through a "Velo" phase (short for velocity) we typically see gains of 3-5 mph.

Of course, there are no guarantees, but this is what we aim for.
Phase II: The VELO Phase!
During Phase II, our goal is to increase throwing velocity!

We'll focus on putting athletes bodies into positions where they have to throw the ball harder.

By using a combination of trying to see how FAR an athlete can throw the ball with arc under it, to how hard they can throw it on a line from a crow hop (along with other drills all measured on a radar gun), athletes start to self-discover different ways of moving more efficiently.
It is very common for an athlete to discover a different way of throwing on long toss day, and have him take that "feel" into another drill and see DIRECT-CARRY OVER.

During this phase, we also adjust the training for your son's body type.  Some kids are naturally STRONG but slow... others are FAST but weak.   We analyze each player, then modify the program to help each athlete move faster while keeping their arm healthy.

Because not every kid should be on the same program!

(For example, if your son is a strong kid who's a slow mover, we will program him with extra UNDER-WEIGHTED balls to help teach him how to move faster!)
Phase III: Mound Blending
Learning To Control Your New Velocity
After we have completed the Velo phase, where we've typically helped a kid gain 3-5 mph, its time to put them on the mound and help them learn to control it.
To do this we put a radar gun on them and say they have to throw strikes within 4 mph of the hardest they've ever thrown; and then we score their strike percentage.  And by tracking how many "HARD STRIKES" kids throw, we often see dramatic improvements in command.
Then we use that data to...
Track Weekly Improvements
We use a combination of charting and pocket radar readings to track a player's progress, week over week...

Typically this is where we see gains of 3-5 mph (over 12 weeks) in how hard a player can throw.
Players who continue and REPEAT this velo phase again have seen another ADDITIONAL bump of 2-3 mph.

Over $1,800 In Training... Comes With Everything Here For A Fraction Of The Cost:
Here's what it includes:
  • 36 sessions of Velocity Builder training, scheduled over 12 weeks.
  • Hosted at Lacey, Wa facility.
  • Flexible training days (because life happens).
  • I'll host 3 weekly training sessions, a mix of weekday afternoons & weekends.
  • Each session will run for approximately 60 minutes.
  • Sessions will include warm up, work out, and recovery time.
  • Player training records will be provided to athletes (and parents) so you can measure the improvements from beginning of training until the end.
If your player is going to see results, it's important they attend 2-3 sessions each week.

Normally, I'd offer training of this caliber for a minimum of $50 per training session -- which would be $150 per week, or $1,800 for the full 12-Week Training Camp.   However, because I'm able to offer this particular coaching more efficiently to small groups, without compromising the quality of the training, I'm able to reduce your investment considerably.

Register today for our 12-Week Velocity Builder Training Camp, and I will slash the cost in half...

... Plus, I'll give you a few payment options to make it as affordable as I possibly can for your family.

Registration is NOW OPEN for our Fall 2023 Velocity Builders Camp...

Camp will start November 2nd this.

To reserve your space, given demand, it's recommended that all players REGISTER & MAKE THEIR FIRST PAYMENT.

That said, please note that not all players who apply may be accepted.  To maintain the integrity of our coaching program, your child must be "coachable"; something we can discuss by phone or during an in-person assessment.

There are a limited number of spots available for Fall 2023.

As soon as these spaces are FILLED, I will take down the order forms.

Thanks in advance to everyone who applies; I *do* respond to all registrations.

Remember, you're not BORN a hard thrower... Throwing at high velocity is a *skill* that can be learned.   And that's what this camp is all about, taking your son's game to the next level by giving him the advantage of being able to throw hard, fast, and accurately.

If you have questions, you're welcome to text me at 509.599.9657.

Hope to see you on the field,

        Chet Womach
