If You Want To Hit For More Power Work With Your Bodies Fascia Not Against It

Fascia is a tissue that covers the muscles and tissues of the body that when quickly stretched turns into a "springy" type of tissue that helps the body be more explosive than it normally would be capable of.

And the most important part about Fascia is to understand that it runs diagonally through the center of our torso.

So if a hitter doesn't load their body and start their swing where their front shoulder loads down and back towards their hip, they lose access to the Fascia's ability to help them hit for power.

It is a proven concept in sports science that a muscle will fire faster if it's first put into a stretch shortening cycle.

And that the best way to train the stretch shortening cycles of the body is to use what are called Plyometric exercises.
